Artist's Comments
Ah, my first painting (At least the first i count) It bring back a lot of memories. the spring 2003 I think it was. I made the sketch in Södertälje, a small town slightly west of Stockholm. The little red tower in the backround still exist there. It is a little bit inspired of the mayan art of ancient South America. I painted it with oil that my parents bought me. With my today's skills it's painted a bit lame but I was only nine years old.
But today... it's my favorite of my artwork, and it's the nostalgic feelings to it... that make it awsome! I'm sorry about the white area in the frame, I am an artist, not a photografer... |
